This study was conducted to determine the factors causing delay in the completion of "Construction of Drainage Canal System Flood Control, Bayombong Campus." Three factors, Le, manpower, weather conditions, and construction strategies, were given locus. Data were obtained through a survey and analyzed using a descriptive-qualitative research design
Results of the study showed that a shortage of manpower was the primary cause of delay in terms of manpower, typhoons in terms of weather conditions, and budget inaccuracies in terms of construction strategies.
It is recommended that project managers develop contingency plans to mitigate the effects of these factors on project timelines. In addition, it is also advised that project stakeholders work together to ensure proper planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to minimize delays and ensure timely project completion.
