This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of service quality in the three selected (department of tourism) DOT-Accredited lodging establishments in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. It aimed to gather information from the customers through questionnaire with the use of LODGING SERVICE QUALITY dimensions. Data gathered were subjected to F-test to determine the difference between the respondent's expected and perceived service quality of DOT accredited lodging establishments in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya according to the establishments, difference among the overall customer satisfaction service quality dimensions according to the establishments and the difference between the levels of expected and perceived service quality of DOT accredited lodging establishments in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
The result of the study showed that the higher the expectations of the respondents on the lodging establishments the higher was their perceived service quality in all the dimensions. Moreover, it was observed that particular factors had significant differences when the respondents are grouped according to establishments.
Based on the results, the researchers concluded that the higher expected and/or perceived service quality resulted to higher overall customer satisfaction. The higher the expectations of the respondents on the lodging establishments the higher was their perceived service quality in all the dimensions. When grouped according to establishments, the respondents had varied expected and perceived quality service ratings for the establishments. The respondents tended to have different views on the overall level of customer satisfaction when grouped according to establishments.
