This study contributes to the development of instructional strategies by investigating the effect of EduTIKTOK videos as supplementary instructional tools on students' learning outcomes and academic achievement. Utilizing a true experimental research design, a pre-test/post-test control group and experimental group were formed using the fishbowl sampling technique. The treatment group received instruction through EduTIKTOK videos, while the control group received traditional teaching. Data was collected before and after the intervention to evaluate EduTIKTOK's effectiveness in improving academic achievement in Health lessons. Results revealed increased scores in both groups after instructions, with EduTIKTOK showing comparable efficacy to traditional methods. Despite a slightly lower mean pretest score, the experimental group demonstrated comparable posttest scores, indicating EduTIKTOK's effectiveness in promoting positive outcomes akin to traditional methods. However, the experimental group exhibited higher post-test score variability, suggesting potential differential effects on students. The study also found that traditional instruction within the control group significantly improved academic performance in Health lessons, emphasizing the importance of diverse instructional approaches. With these findings, educators may choose the best approach for their teaching style to meet student needs. Further research could explore factors like student engagement and long-term knowledge retention to provide a comprehensive understanding of instructional efficacy in promoting academic success.
