The study that was conducted is a qualitative-quantitative study which aims to determine and classify the performance management strategies related to planning. scheduling, and quality control of materials in the construction of the three-storey residential building. A structured survey questionnaire was taken into consideration in collecting data containing categorized performance management strategies under planning. scheduling, and quality control of materials.
The study revealed that the given performance management strategies related to planning: Understanding the project scope, Methods are used to plan construction project, Labor and equipment need are considered when planning the construction project, scheduling: Activities are done on a scheduled time to prevent possible slippage on the project, Scheduled days based on the scope of works of the construction project are being met and quality control of materials: Materials are being tested before using it for construction, Equipment is used to maintain the quality of materials, Procedures for quality control of materials are being documented and tracked are always utilized in the construction of the three-storey residential building. Furthermore, potential construction issues can be solved when these determined performance management strategies are implemented effectively, leading to the conclusion that these performance management strategies have a significant impact on entire construction projects in terms of planning, scheduling, and quality control of materials.
