This study examined the effectiveness of Radio Based Instruction (RBI) as a supplementary learning modality for Science Education in secondary schools in Isabela, Philippines. Feedback from students and teachers were gathered to identify areas for improvement. A survey questionnaire collected data, and were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results showed that both students and teachers perceived RBI as effective in enhancing science education, with significant differences between the two groups in terms of the delivery and support component. The study also found a significant relationship between the level of effectiveness of RBI and the respondents' profile in terms of age and sex for student respondents and in terms of sex and the number of years in teaching of the teacher respondents, respectively. Based on the findings, an enhanced RBI was proposed for expert evaluation. This study highlighted the potential of RBI as a viable delivery option of science education, particularly in geographically isolated areas and where technology was limited.
