This study assessed health and safety practices in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya's construction sector, and focused on compliance levels, the effectiveness of safety training, and safety prioritization. Using a mixed-methods approach with surveys and interviews from construction workers, site engineers/safety officers, and project managers/administrators, the study found moderate compliance with some challenges, such as time constraints and poor implementation of safety practices. Survey results showed construction workers with a mean compliance score of 3.57, site engineers/safety officers at 3.62, and project managers/administrators at 3.43, which indicated room for improvement. Only 20% of 40 workers participated in safety training, they found it helpful in reducing accidents.

The study highlighted the need for ongoing reviews and targeted interventions to improve safety in the construction industry, and offered insights for stakeholders, policymakers, and future research.
