500			_aThe study was conducted in March 2010 in Dairy Cattle, BADACO farm in Brgy. Inosluban, Lipa City, Batangas. It aimed to determine the prevalence of tuberculosis infection among dairy cattle stocks using the tuberculin test. The total herd populations of 204 heads of dairy cattle were used in the study. The Tuberculin Purified Protein Derivatives Intradermic was administered intradermally in the right caudal fold of the base of the base of cattle. The survey study using tuberculin test showed that no animal reacted positively to tuberculosis. This means that bovine tuberculosis is apparently absent in all the experimental animals at Badaco farm in Brgy. Inosluban, Lipa City, Batangas. It is recommended that the farm personnel should continue their health management practices regularly, and an annual tuberculin test be conducted in the farm as monitoring and disease surveillance activity. Research similar with the present study using greater number of animals and in a wider geographical area should be conducted. Studies on the incidence or occurrence of tuberculosis using other animals like sheep and carabao are also recommended.
