500			_aThis study investigated the demographic profile, motivations, effectiveness, and challenges associated with educational tours for tourism management students in selected private Higher Education Institutions (HEls) in the Bayombong and Solano areas of the Nueva Vizcaya region. Employing a descriptive-inferential research method, a survey questionnaire was distributed among 109 students, focusing on profiles and perceptions related to motivations, effectiveness, and encountered problems during educational tours. The findings reveal a positive consensus on motivational factors and perceived effectiveness, with strong agreement on putting theory into practice. Participants express uncertainty regarding the severity of encountered problems, particularly in financial, time-related, and coordination aspects. Notable variations in motivational factors and perceived effectiveness are observed based on local tour fees, sex, family size, and funding sources. Recommendations include integrating more practical components into tours to address the gap between theory and practice and establishing financial assistance programs to alleviate concerns. Clear communication on costs and benefits is crucial to managing expectations and fostering increased participation and satisfaction. Future research may explore additional variables influencing the studied factors.
