500 _aThe study was conducted at Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU). The study was the root initiation of dungon cuttings that composed of ten (10) treatments and laid-out in two factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), wherein factor A were the various concentrations and factor B were the two growth hormones. The results showed the significant effect of the interaction between rooting hormones and concentration levels. Specifically, the findings revealed that the combination yielding the most favorable outcomes included a percent rooting of 31.25%, a maximum root number of 0.31, a shoot number of 0.75, percent shooting of 75%, and the longest shoot length recorded at 0.80cm. For the effects of rooting hormones, it gave significant differences. IBA exhibited notable disparities, demonstrating highest results in terms of survival rate (14.38%), rooting percentage (16.25%), and the maximum number of roots (0.16). Analysis of variance further revealed significant differences in percent survival and roots, both at 28.13%. Additionally, variations were observed in the maximum number (0.28) and longest length (0.99 cm) of roots, the highest number of shoots (0.71), the longest shoot length (0.73 cm), and the greatest number of stem cuttings with calluses (0.34), all influenced by the concentrations of the rooting hormones. The IBA treatment had a better effect on root initiation and shoot parameters.
