500			_a The study compared the efficacy of turmeric powder (TP) and fermented turmeric (Curcuma longa) juice (FIJ) supplementation in Kabır chicken. A total of 240 Kabır chicken were randomly distributed to 4 treatment groups with 3 replicates and the study lasted for 72 days It was laid in a complete randomized design and data analysis used Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and significant differences calculated with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). FTJ was supplemented through drinking water at the concentration of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%. TP was supplemented via feed at the rates of 0%, 1.0%, 15%, and 2.0%, The study reveals that there was no significant effect of FTJ on body weight, weight gain and feed conversion ratio of birds. Meanwhile, TP has significant effect (p >= 0.05) on body weights of birds, ADG and FCR on day 21 and 63. Histopathology intestinal tissue samples were collected in each treatment at day 72. For FTJ, T4 had the longest duodenal villi length and crypt depth (p >= 0.05) while TI had the widest basal width (p >= 0.05) whereas for the jejunum, T2 had the widest basal width (p >= 0.05) T3 had the longest villous length and T1 had the deepest crypt. In TP, T3 had the widest duodenal basal width and deepest crypt (p >= 0.05) and T4 had the longest villous length (p >= 0.05) whereas for the jejunum, T4 had the longest villous length (p >= 0.05) and deeper intestinal crypts while T3 had the widest basal width (p>= 0.05). Economically, TP supplementation had a higher net income than FTJ supplementation. T3 with 1.5% TP supplementation had higher net income.
