500			_a Safety in the construction industry is often neglected, making it one of the most dangerous sectors in terms of health and safety. The government thru the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is addressing this issue, but the effort done is far from satisfactory since construction incidents still continue to rise. Locally, construction companies focus on the labor market, such as part-time and temporary employment, but employee's concern for health and safety remains insufficient. This study was conducted to identify specifically the factors affecting the industrial incidents at Big G Builders, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya. The study was conducted using quantitative and qualitative methods by administering a researcher-made questionnaire that was answered by the Company's Engineer, Secretary, drivers/operators and laborers. The results of the study indicated high level of agreement among the respondents to the factors contributing to industrial incidents, the perception of health and safety policies, perception of health and safety procedures in the workplace and compliance with safety procedure. However, there are still areas for improvement, including the proper PPE provision and usage, maintenance of cleanliness in the workplace and conduct of free safety training for the workers. The study highlights the need for enhanced safety measures to mitigate risks in the construction sector. Keywords: construction, health and safety, high level, sector, workplace
