This study identified Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) hotspots and cold spots in Nueva Vizcaya and consequently investigated the environmental aspects of the identified ARI hotspots and cold spots. This study made use of a descriptive exploratory design. Data regarding ARI cases were collected from the different Municipal Health Offices in Nueva Vizcaya. Descriptive statistics such as frequency count was used to determine the number of ARI cases of each municipality in the province. Furthermore, frequency count was also used in analyzing the environmental aspects of ARI hotspots and cold spots. Moran's 1 and Getis Ord-Gi from GIS were used to analyze and to identify cluster pattern, hotspots and cold spots. It was discovered that Aritao had the most recorded cases while Dupax del Sur had the least occurrence of ARI. In addition, spatial clustered patterns appeared when ARI cases were categorized according to age group, i.e., 0 to 11 months old, 1 to 5 years old, and above 5 years old. Moreover, hotspot analysis revealed that residents of the municipalities of Ambaguio, Alfonso Castañeda, Kayapa, Bambang, Bagabag. Aritao, and Santa Fe were prone to acute respiratory illnesses, while the resident of the municipalities of Kasibu, Bayombong, Dupax del Sur and Dupax del Norte had low risk of acquiring such diseases.
