Descriptive inferential research was utilized in the study. Fourteen public elementary schools, 192 pupils and 15 Grade II teachers were the sources of data and respondents of the study. Data were gathered using questionnaire, interview guide and survey guide. Questionnaire was used to collect the data on pupils' and teachers' profile like sex, place of origin, dialect spoken at home, ethnicity, years in service, teaching position, and educational attainment. Survey guide was used to collect data on the pupil’s academic performance particularly on the subjects using Iloko such as Mathematics, Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (ESP), Araling Panlipunan (AP), Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health (MAPEH) and on the pupils' profile like sex, place of origin, dialect spoken at home, and ethnicity. Informal interview guide was used to collect data on the problems encountered by the pupils and teachers in using floko as medium of instruction, the solutions to the problems encountered in teaching using Iloko and the teachers' suggestions to overcome the problem in using Iloko as medium of instruction. Frequency and percentage were used to treat the profile of the pupils. Mean was used for the level of academic performance of the respondents in using Iloko subjects like Math, ESP, Araling Panlipunan, Mother Tongue Based-Multi Lingual Education (MTB-MLE) and MAPEH. Rank was used to treat the problems encountered by the pupils and teachers in using lloko, the solutions made by the teachers too in using Iloko and the teachers' suggestions to overcome the problems in using Iloko. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to determine the relationship between the pupils' profile and the pupils' academic performance. The specific components of pupils and teachers’ profile such as teacher's position, length of teacher's teaching service, teacher's sex, pupil's ethnicity, and pupil's sex significantly influenced the academic performance of the pupils using loko. Mother Tongue-Based Multi Lingual Education (MTB-MLE) significantly influenced the academic performance of the pupils particularly in Mathematics, Araling Panlipunan, MAPEH and Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao. | Thesis (Master of Education- Educational Administration) 28 cm..

Place hold on Academic performance of grade II pupils using iloko as medium of instruction/

Knowledge, attitudes, and practices of hog raisers in compliance with the prevention and control program of african swine fever in selected municipalities of Nueva Vizcaya/
<dc:identifier>ISBN:</dc:identifier>

By Bicera, April Joy V..
Bayombong: Nueva Vizcaya State Univesity, 2023 .
xiv, 71 leaves : , The study was conducted to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of hog raisers in compliance with the prevention and control program of African Swine Fever implemented by selected municipalities of Nueva Vizcaya. A total of 96 hog raisers and 7 local program implementers were the respondents of the study. The study was conducted from May-August 2022. A set of questionnaires were developed and administered to the respondents. The data were collected through the key informants and personal interviews of the respondents. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results were presented in narrative method and portrayed in tabular forms. The respondents were mostly married females, between 21 and more than 50 years old. The respondents were mainly from the llocano and Igorot ethnicities and predominated by Roman Catholics. Majority of the respondents have 5-9 household sizes, self-employed, engaged in hog raising for less than 5 years purposely for source of income. The backyard farm is the most common type of production scale with a grower to finisher production system. Most of the respondents are knowledgeable of the causative agent, transmission, and clinical signs of the ASF Similarly, the respondents are highly aware of the stage of production, class of pigs affected, non-zoonotic potential, the need for a confirmatory diagnosis and unavailability of treatment or vaccine for the disease. The respondents are not compliant with the recommended location in between piggeries, provision of signages, wearing of protective clothing and showering upon entering the farm premises, record-keeping and vehicle movement management practices. However, majority of the respondents are compliant with the proper way of disposing of suspected/confirmed carcasses, disease monitoring and surveillance activities, and post-outbreak contingency-related procedures. African Swine Fever still exists in the province amidst the collaborative efforts of concerned government agencies involving policies and ordinances, information, education, and communication campaign strategies, border control, and the detection of African Swine Fever in piggeries and animal holding facilities. This was compounded by the unavailability of vaccines, the reluctance of hog raisers to disclose animal diseases, and the illegal movement of undocumented pigs and by-products. Based on the results, recommendations were provided to improve compliance with Good Animal Husbandry Practices that would help eradicate African Swine Fever in the province. | Thesis (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) 28 cm..

Place hold on Knowledge, attitudes, and practices of hog raisers in compliance with the prevention and control program of african swine fever in selected municipalities of Nueva Vizcaya/

Feeding, housing and milk production parameters of dairy cattle in Cagayan Valley/
<dc:identifier>ISBN:</dc:identifier>

By Pataras, Jasmin D..
Bayombong: Nueva Vizcaya State Univesity, 2023 .
xi, 63 leaves : , The study was conducted to evaluate the feeding, housing management practices and milk production parameters of dairy cattle production in Cagayan valley. Selected dairy farms (n = 9) were visited and a field survey was conducted to acquire the demographic information of farmers, farm operation profile, feeding management, housing management, milking management, milk production parameters and individual animal profile Analysis using Pearson correlation test revealed that some variables under feeding and housing management are significantly correlated with the milk production parameters. It was found that average milk per day ( p < 0.046 , r=0.67), number of lactating cows ( p < 0.046 , r=0.67), frequency of milking ( p < 0.046 , r = 0.67 is positively correlated with grazing. The time of milking (p < 0.018, r = 0.75 ) , when to stop milking [ p < 0.018 , r = 0.75 ) is also positively correlated to available conserved feeds and available quarantine area. Farmers were recommended to intensify the management system of feeding, housing and milk production parameters, educate farm owners and employees, evaluate of the knowledge, attitude and practices of farmers to elucidate underlying cause of low milk production in Cagayan Valley. | Thesis (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) 28 cm..

Place hold on Feeding, housing and milk production parameters of dairy cattle in Cagayan Valley/
