Fulgencio This study was conducted in the Nueva Vizcaya State Institute of Technology, Bayombong, Nueva Viz-caya to determine the extent to which the different bachelor's degree curricula and non-degree courses have met the occupational needs of the graduates. To determine the needed information in this study, copies of questionnaire were prepared and pre-tested after which they were distributed and mailed to the graduates. Personal interview was also under-taken. Majority of the respondents (72.16 percent) were employed in different government agencies, 16.03 percent in private agencies, and 11.81 percent were engaged in actual farming enterprises, The Maximum average salary per month was P2,472.00 and the mini-mum was P1,250.00. The problems/difficulties encountered in their employment arranged from highest to lowest were: (a) no political backers, (b) no civil service eligibilities, (c) lack of major and/or minor subject, (d) lack of appropriate educational qualification, (e) insecurity of employment, (f) low salary, (g) farmer's attitudinal behavior, (h) site of job not safe, (i) too many reports to accomplish, (j) lack of funds for traveling expenses, (k) distance employment, (1) poor scholastic records, and (m) poor health. Among the deficiencies apparently observed on the graduates were ability to (a) make accurate reports, (b) communicate verbally and in writing, (c) adjust themselves to new environment, (d) punctuality, and (e) absenteeism. The subject areas that needed to be strengthened as pointed out by the graduates were (a) languages, (b) soils, (c) crop science, (d) social science, (e) agricultural economics, (f) animal science, and (g) farm practice.
