<br/><br/> This study determined the prevalence of internal parasites among native pigs (Sus scrofa domesticus) in selected municipalities of Nueva Vizcaya.<br/><br/>A total of 168 fecal samples were randomly collected from the selected municipalities of Nueva Vizcaya. The results revealed that 67.86% were infected with internal parasite and only the eggs of Ascaris suum were found present in the samples collected from the selected municipalities of Nueva Vizcaya. <br/><br/>In relation to age, sex and place of origin, the prevalence of Ascaris suum was not significantly correlated with the place of origin and sex of animal but it was negatively correlated with the age of animal at 5% level of significance, r = - 0.184 and its p-value at 0.017. This indicates that the younger the animal the more prone they are to Ascaris suum infection.<br/>  Thesis (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
