This study took place between March and June 2023 in the Municipality of Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, with a specific focus on profiling titled and untitled lands in the area. The research examined the classification, location, area, and mode of titles for titled lands in Bambang. Additionally, it investigated the classification, location, area, geographic coordinates, mode of possession, lot status, and muniments of title for untitled lands. The study also proposed recommendations or procedures for addressing untitled properties in Bambang. Lastly, maps were used in conjunction with a geographic information system to identify titled and untitled lands in Bambang. This research involved collecting information and data from two specific sources: The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO-Aritao) and the Assessor's Office of the municipality of Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, as well as the Provincial Office of Nueva Vizcaya. The researchers utilized the Quantum Geographic Information System to create maps of both Titled and untitled lands Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya The study utilized a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Descriptive statistics, specifically frequency and percentage distribution, were employed to analyze the data. To map the titled lands and understand their spatial distribution, Quantum Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques were applied. Official land records provided the data on land classification, which was further categorized into agricultural, commercial, and residential segments. Based on the findings, the Assessor's Office records indicate a total of 22,409 land parcels, with 15,944 parcels being titled lands covering an area of 96,243,787 square meters. In contrast, there are 6,465 untitled land lots spanning an area of 167,992,885 square meters. Among the untitled lands, the Cadastre # (CAD) is the most common survey plan issued, encompassing 13 barangays, while the Group Settlement Surveys (GSS) are the least issued, which only consist of one barangay. Under the Stewardship program, 454 landholders from nine barangays have acquired a total area of 626.28 hectares. CENRO-Aritao's comprehensive land mapping effort has identified 19,102 land plots, covering an extensive area of 174,091,577.83 square meters. Out of these, 18,136 parcels, spanning 161,641,189 square meters, possess legal titles indicating clear ownership. However, there are 966 untitled parcels, encompassing 12,450,388.83 square meters, lacking official documentation of ownership. It is important to note that the data from the Provincial Assessor's Office (PASSO) and CENRO-Aritao differ due to their respective update periods, with PASSO's records last updated in 2017 and CENRO-Aritao's data last updated in 2018.
