	note = {	The study was conducted to determine the prevalence of gastrointestinal parasites in pigs slaughtered at Tabuk City Abattoir. A total of 388 slaughtered pigs of both sexes were randomly selected by the systematic random sampling method where every 3rd observation was the sampling unit for 1,200 hogs slaughtered for the period April to May 2013.

The result shows that Ascaris suum was the only parasite in the pigs slaughtered at Tabuk City Abattoir with 9.8% prevalence of samples collected. It also showed that occurrence of gastrointestinal parasites has no relationship with the method of rearing, age, breed, sex, origin of the animal and type of merchant.
