The Kalanguya tribe is considered as a distinct indigenous group inhabiting the different regions such as: CAR, Region 1, Region 2 and Region 3. This ethno linguistic group is the least studied and described as ethnographically invisible. The following places namely: Ahin, Tabuy and Tinek in the municipality of Tinoc (Tinek), province of Ifugao in the Cordillera Region, Philippines are considered as the ancestral places of the Kalanguya. This study aimed to describe the origin, culture and language of the Kalanguya using crystallized qualitative research design. The different genres such as: ethnohistory, ethnography and ethnolinguistic are presented in this study. The sources of the data are the informants and the researcher herself. These data are analyzed using autoethnographic method, multimodal and componential method of analyses. The Kalanguya origin is described based on legend, baki and genealogy. Legendary origin and baki mentioned that the first Kalanguya ancestors were spared at Mt. Pulag during the deluge. Genealogy stories of the Kalanguya folks including some Kankana-ey, Ibaloy and Tuwali speakers, consistently mentioned Ahin Valley as the origin of their ancestors. The existence of the old rice fields and the Salt River in the area validated the point of origin. The non material culture portrayed the beliefs, values, folk songs, dances and indigenous knowledge of farming of the Kalanguya while the material culture is revealed in the foods, clothing, ornament, blanket, house, tools, equipment, music and musical instruments. The study of the language described the phonology, morphology and syntax of Kalanguya language. These descriptions justified that Kalanguya is a distinct indigenous group with a distinct culture and language. However, it is a complex ethnolinguistic group: linguistically, their language is related to Pangasinense and Ibaloy, culturally, they are related to Ibaloy, Kankana-ey and Tuwali group.
