<br/><br/>         This study made use of nine (9) starter native pigs to test their cholesterol level after asparagus supplementation for seven (7) and fourteen (14) days. Results revealed no significant decrease in cholesterol level after 7 and 14 days with continuous feeding of the regular diet as compared with the initial cholesterol level mean. Likewise, there was no significant decrease in the mean cholesterol levels in the blood of starter native pigs after 7 and 14 days of 100 grams asparagus supplementation as compared to the mean of the initial cholesterol level. Furthermore, the supplementation of 200 grams asparagus did not show a significant decrease in the cholesterol level of the starter native pigs as compared with the initial cholesterol level.
