N1  - 	In a populated location where people do not experience everyday fear, safety is one of the top considerations. One of today's biggest threats is traffic accidents, to mitigate this, we proposed constructing a footbridge to assist commuters and pedestrians in crossing the street.
Footbridge is a link between the two distinct places. A footbridge is not only a safe passageway because there is also a great benefit of it, but it's also opened opportunities to improve service delivery and boosted business and commerce in the barangay as well. The massive increase of vehicles volume in our community has made road traffic become extremely crowded. Footbridges become the most vulnerable users of the road to get traffic accidents, especially during rush hour. (Heldak, 2021).
Pedestrian bridges are constructions placed over roadways so that pedestrians can cross them without having to take longer, frequently unavailable routes or impede the flow of cars. By relocating people away from oncoming traffic, proponents of these buildings claim that they are designed for the safety of pedestrians. In truth, pedestrian bridges just perpetuate the dominance of vehicles over people on the streets by displacing people. (Transport Matter 2019)
We have also taken into consideration the impact of the footbridge on the local ecosystem and have chosen materials and construction methods that will minimize any negative effects.
The study is conducted to create a harmonic situation between the pedestrian and motorist. To help senior citizens, and students from using the road. This may prevent parking near the T-intersection that causes interruption of the flow of traffic.
