<note>Effective microorganism was tested on weanling and grower native pigs with the following objectives (1) to determine the effect of effective microorganism (EM) as feed additives on the growth performance of weanling and grower native pigs (2) to determine the economics of using effective microorganisms (EM) as feed additive in weanling and grower native pigs.

The experiment was laid out following Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the following treatments. Treatment 1- Basal Diet - No Effective Microorganism given, Treatment 2-Basal diet with 50 ml Effective Microorganism and Treatment 3 Basal Diet with 100 ml of Effective Microorganism Each treatment was replicated three (3) times and each replicate has three (3) experimental native pigs with a total of twenty-seven (27) native pigs used in the study Based on the result of this study, effective microorganism given at 50 ml showed an increase in the daily gain of weanling and grower native pigs Moreover, the use of effective microorganism in native pigs can increase net profit.
