	note = {Information about the soil fertility status of an area, along with mapping of its spatial distribution, plays a vital role in sustainable land management. Hence, this study was conducted to assess the soil fertility status of selected agroforestry farms within community-based forest management sites in Magsaysay, Rafael Palma, and Campamento in Diffun, Quirino. For this purpose, a total of 120 georeferenced soil samples were collected using a spade at a depth of 15 cm, a width of 5 cm, and a thickness of 5 cm. Forty-nine composite samples were obtained after combining all sub-samples within a sampling plot with the same soil type, soil color, and vegetation. Chemical analyses of the soil samples at the Regional Soil Laboratory San Felipe, Ilagan City, Isabela were carried out on the following parameters: organic matter percentage (%OM), available phosphorus (P), available potassium (K), available manganese (Mn), available iron (Fe), and soil pH.

	According to the Regional Soil Laboratory's ratings, the soil pH in the area ranges from strongly acidic to acidic (5.79-6.20); however, the USDA-NCRS classification, which is widely accepted and used by many institutions, places this pH value in the range of moderately acidic (5.6-6.0) to slightly acidic (6.1-6.5). Moreover, the study revealed that Rafael Palma has a mean OM content of 2.80%, 2.92 mg/kg P, and 147.05 mg/kg K, Magsaysay, on the other hand, has an average OM content of 2.52%, 5.78 mg/kg P, and 189.59 mg/kg of K while Campamento has a mean OM content of 3.10%, P of 12.47 mg/kg. and 259.07 mg/kg K. The ASEAN Guidelines on Soil and Nutrient Management define fertile soil as having 4.7% OM. 7-10 mg/kg of P, and 98 mg/kg of K. These figures suggest that Campamento has the highest soil fertility status among the study areas.

	Among the agroforestry practices known, only intercropping and mixed cropping were observed in the area wherein higher mean OM content was observed on intercropping at 2.80% while mixed cropping is at 2.77%. Although both practices manifested a P content below the acceptable range, higher P content was observed in mixed cropping (9.45 mg/kg) than in intercropping (5.11 mg/kg). Similarly, the study revealed that both agroforestry practices exceeded the acceptable K content since mixed cropping K contents is 225.89 mg/kg while intercropping is 186.05 mg/kg. Moreover, the study further revealed that both agroforestry practices are in the moderately acidic pH class with mixed cropping at pH level 6.02 and intercropping at pH level 5.97.  }
