The urge of every country to battle worldwide infectious diseases became essential, particularly in the part of the health sectors. In the Philippine setting, the action of the Government on reducing the alarming effect of the pandemic is still ongoing. In the literature review, the researchers found that our government still has many improvements regarding health concerns. The lack of isolation facilities is one of the reasons why our country could collapse during a massive infectious disease case. The study aligns with producing a proposed quarantine facility that admits a maximum predetermined number of cases based on the data gathered at the Provincial Integrated Health Office (PIHO). After a thorough computation of the number of patients admitted at the Region 2 Trauma and Medical Center at its peak days, the researchers found that on a three-day basis, the hospital could have 29 vacant isolation rooms. In the following days, the number of vacant rooms became limited as the hospital increasingly admitted patients. In our current situation, early recovery of those confirmed cases can be nearly possible because of the roll-out of the vaccine. The computed numbers have been compared, and the proposed design should be 40-bed occupancy. Approximating the result gives a safety factor since a virus like COVID-19 is unpredictable. The four-story quarantine facility is enough to accommodate the same scenario as the data tabulated. Based on its plan, the project's total floor area is 4512m², subdivided into different functional room components. There are 48 isolation rooms, 16 per level, with each room composed of anteroom, a dirty utility room, and I toilet and bathroom with a services room such as a nurse station, equipment/storage area, janitorial and electrical room. Aside from that, the Intensive Care Unit is on the third level with the same room components on the first and second-floor levels with stricter requirements. The fourth-floor level consists of the delivery room, labor room, recovery room, and operating room with sub-components which intends for sanitation, such as a doffing and donning room, scrub and clean-up area, male and female dressing room, as well as a janitor and electrical room with equipment and storage room. Lastly, for the transport and access going to the other floors, this paper proposes two stairs, two ramps, two elevators on each floor, and one entry-one exit movement inside the quarantine facility. Hence, the initial cost estimate of the proposed project and calculated the entire project cost is Php 184,005,866.55. The project's duration was 631 calendar days in ideal weather conditions based on the project schedule.
