N1  - The study aimed to determine the relationship between the tourists' characteristics and tourist destination attributes of Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya. A survey questionnaire based from the study of Morachat (2003) regarding the Study of Destination Attractiveness and focusing on the relationship between tourist characteristics and its relationship with tourist perceived importance of destination attributes was used as the primary data gathering tool for the study. Descriptive statistics like frequency, mean and average was used to describe the tourist characteristics and the perceived importance of the destination attributes of Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya. Correlation method specifically Pearson Chi-square examined the relationship between tourist characteristics and tourist perceived importance of destination attributes.
	Based on foregoing results, the tourist characteristics namely: age, gender and highest educational attainment have negative assumed effect on the tourist's perceptions regarding the importance of destination attributes. In addition, majority of the tourists visit the place mainly for leisure, education and have vacation with friends and relatives
