N1  - 	Project management is a tool used to maximize the use of commodities and resources available to fulfill certain project goals, and the success of the project is defined by how well it is managed. Project management can be described as the processes of carefully planning, organizing, controlling, and motivating the organization's resources in order to foster and facilitate the achievement of specific established and desired goals, as well as meeting the specific success criteria required in the organization (Larson, 2014).
	The present study seeks to identify the total cost and maximum duration, as well as to assist the budget process by providing estimates of the funding necessary to properly execute the proposed three-story academic building's construction. To achieve these goals, cost estimating takes into account all necessary materials, labor, and equipment, as well as indirect and engineering costs that contribute to the project's bottom line. The current DPWH rates are used to calculate material costs, labor rates, equipment rates, and production rates. Based on the projected duration, a Gantt chart and project schedule were created.
	Based on the study, the total projected building cost is Php 42,772,253.57. Without considering indirect expenses, the computed material costs Php 25,760,672.29, labor costs Php 5,341,546.22, and equipment costs Php 2,118,949.31, for a total direct cost of Php 33,221,167.82.
