It was based on the theory of production and was salient in determining the relationship between inputs used by the growers and their outputs expressed quantitatively. The respondents socioeconomic profile, production practices, and enabling and hindering factors they encountered were described using descriptive statistics. It was found out that growers were dominated by males, reached secondary school, had an average age of 54.52 years old with 7.26 years of farming experience. Results also showed that majority of growers were inclined in conventional farming which included the use of conventional fertilizers and pesticides. Flood irrigation and manual harvesting were also the most common practices of the respondents. Stochastic Frontier Analysis using Cobb-Douglas production function and Maximum Likelihood Estimates (MLE) method were employed in the study to analyze the production efficiency of calamansi growers. The result showed that most of the growers in Aurora, Isabela had a score of 0.72 which implied that they had an average efficiency, thus losing by 28 percent of produced. The variables that contributed to the efficiency of the growers include quantity of herbicides and fertilizers. The gap could still be attained considering that the factors affecting efficiencies and inefficiencies would be given solutions or interventions. The factors related to production inefficiencies included age of trees, farm size, number of irrigations, sex, educational attainment, and family labor.
