	note = {Biogas technology is being utilized by small-scale farmers as an alternative fuel to operate engines on dual fuel mode where irrigation pumps are operated through an assembly shafts and fan belts to draw water from tube wells. There are already existing biogas digester designs used as an alternative source of energy for different purposes. However, the problem lies on the transportability of these biogas digesters that could maximize its utilization. As such, there is a need to develop a biogas digester that can be transported from one place to another to be utilized as an alternative source of fuel for engine-driven irrigation pumps and other purposes In this study, a trailed-type anaerobic biodigester was evaluated primarily to evaluate its performance for bioenergy generation and utilization for irrigation.

	Results revealed that the average daily biogas production from the anaerobic digester by the 10-head swine at finishing stage was 2,044 liters that could sufficiently supply the bioenergy requirement for water pumping. The rotational speeds five (5) different trials of the biogas-fed engine driven pump ranged from 1,771 rpm to 1.864 rpm at were fed with a biogas flow rate of 6 1pm and a corresponding water pump discharges ranges from 300.15 1pm to 322 58 Ipm while rotational speeds ranged from 1,320 rpm to 1,352 rpm were fed with biogas flow rate of 2.5 lpm to 3.75 lpm and a corresponding water pump discharges ranged from 274.65 Ipm to 278.18 Ipm. The average volume of water discharged by the water pump per irrigation was 7,993.06 liters that could irrigate a 133.2m² potential area of small-scale eggplant farm which could potentially irrigate an area of 1065.6 m² if water pumping is done eight (8) times daily. The average operating time of the biogas-fed engine-driven water pump per irrigation was 26.93 minutes that consumed 134.91 liters of biogas which is equivalent to a gasoline fuel consumption of 93 ml which could save P5.30. If the system is used for (8) eight times of operation daily, the average equivalent gasoline fuel and savings would be 0.75 liters and P42.40, respectively. The trailed-type anaerobic biodigester for water pumping entailed am investment cost of 96,453.60 and an annual net income generated of P18,689.62. The projected time needed to recover cost of the system was 4.63 year.}
