Lim  aBayombong:bNueva Vizcaya State University,c2020  axii, 106 leaves :billustrations (some colored), photos ;c28 cm.  aThis study investigated the level of engagement in authentic learning strategies among science teachers of Clusters I and II schools in the province of Tarlac during the School Year 2019-2020.

	This study was conducted among the 152 secondary science teachers in 31 public secondary schools. The respondents of the study rated the researcher-made questionnaire. The survey-questionnaire consisted of two parts: demographic profile and actual learning strategies. The researcher analyzed the data using descriptive-inferential methods. Descriptive analyses were used to present the profile of the science teachers, their levels of engagement in actual learning strategies and academic performance in Science of their students. On the other hand, the inferential methods explored the differences and relationships among the factor variables.

	Results showed that almost two-thirds of the respondents are female and hold permanent or regular employment status. They are highly engaged in actual learning strategies. Most of them generally employ the inquiry and computer-based learning strategies. However, there is an observed need to exercise constructivist learning strategies. Their respective students have mostly performed satisfactorily in their Science subjects.

	Significant differences were observed in the overall level of actual learning strategies and constructivist learning strategies of science teachers when they were grouped according to age and number of seminars attended.

	Lastly, there was no significant relationship between the authentic learning strategies and the academic performance in Science of grade 10 students.
