De Guzman  aBayombong:bNueva Vizcaya State University,c2018  axvi, 152 leaves :billustrations (some colored), photos ;c28 cm.  aThis study was conducted to develop a comprehensive enterprise development framework that would contribute to the growth of the pineapple industry in Nueva Vizcaya.

	The study was conducted in Bagabag, Diadi and Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya with 77 pineapple farmers and four processors who served as respondents. Key informants identified were government agencies and financial institutions. A semi-structured and open ended questionnaire was designed as a primary tool in gathering data. The data collected were analyzed using frequency count, percentages, likert scale, t-test, simple ranking and SWOT analysis.

	The result showed the strategic factors that might influence both the enterprises and entrepreneurs: (a) Stringent loan requirements of financial institutions, (b) Loans were not readily available for the growth and development of both the entrepreneurs and the enterprise, (c) Farm to market roads were not visible and accessible, (d) Inadequate pest and disease given and (e) Inadequate technical assistance.

	As a result, an enterprise development framework was developed. Main factors identified were (1) mentoring and incubation, (2) ideation and business planning. (3) entrepreneurship development training. (4) entrepreneurship awareness campaigns, (5) pitching to the potential investors and financiers, (6) development of pineapple enterprise and (7) mentoring of the developed pineapple enterprise.
