N1  - The study was conducted to evaluate the feeding, housing management practices and milk production parameters of dairy cattle production in Cagayan valley. Selected dairy farms (n = 9) were visited and a field survey was conducted to acquire the demographic information of farmers, farm operation profile, feeding management, housing management, milking management, milk production parameters and individual animal profile Analysis using Pearson correlation test revealed that some variables under feeding and housing management are significantly correlated with the milk production parameters. It was found that average milk per day ( p < 0.046 , r=0.67), number of lactating cows ( p < 0.046 , r=0.67), frequency of milking ( p < 0.046 , r = 0.67 is positively correlated with grazing. The time of milking (p < 0.018, r = 0.75 ) , when to stop milking [ p < 0.018 , r = 0.75 ) is also positively correlated to available conserved feeds and available quarantine area. Farmers were recommended to intensify the management system of feeding, housing and milk production parameters, educate farm owners and employees, evaluate of the knowledge, attitude and practices of farmers to elucidate underlying cause of low milk production in Cagayan Valley; Thesis (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine); includes appendices and bibliographical references
