Employers’ feedback on the teaching competence and performance of teacher education graduate/ Roman Angelo C. Magno Bayombong: Nueva Vizcaya State University, 2019. xii, 92 leaves : colored illustrations ; 28 cm. This research determined the profile of the NVSU-BEEd Graduates, and their levels of teaching competence and performance, and the possible associations between them. It utilized the descriptive-inferential method of research and used validated researcher-made questionnaire to gather pertinent data from the 60 randomly selected teacher-respondents. Further, it used descriptive statistics such as frequencies, percentages, and means, and inferential statistics, such as F-Test, T-test and Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Test. The results show that most of the respondents are aged 25-27, female, married, enjoy salary ranging from 20,754-22,829, finished their bachelor's degree with units in their master's, graduated in the year 2012, occupy Teacher I positions, are assigned in the intermediate levels, have been in the service for 3 to 4 years, handle monograde classes, and did not receive any award in their pre-service and in-service years. Further, the NVSU-BEEd graduates teaching competence as evaluated by school heads and their teaching performance during school year 2017-2018 are both outstanding. However, those who are married have better teaching and assessment/evaluation skills than those who are single, and those who have been in service for 3-6 years are evaluated higher in teaching competence. Lastly, as the NVSU-BEEd graduates manifest outstanding teaching competence by their school heads particularly in communication skills, they also exhibit outstanding teaching performance.
