The experiment was conducted at the Pampanga Agri-cultural College, Magalang, Pampanga from November 2, 1980 to February 2, 1981 using one thousand two hundred grams of red earthworms grouped into four treatments each having three replications.

The experimental earthworms were fed with rice bran once a week for the first month and twice a week throughout the duration of the experiment. Five hundred grams of rice bran was used every feeding time.

The average final weight and reproductive rate of the earthworms were highest in Treatment, followed by Treatments 3, 1 and 4, respectively.

The average feed consumption of the earthworms was equal in all treatments and replications.
