The researchers conducted a shredded aluminum cans as additives in making concrete hollow block (CHB) to evaluate the compressive strength of concrete hollow block using Universal Testing Machine (UTM). The study was conducted to compare the compressive strength of concrete hollow block with shredded aluminum cans to those without additives. The data gathered were analyzed using one way analysis of variance
Results showed that incorporating of 0.50 kg shredded aluminum cans mixed to concrete hollow block demonstrated the highest maximum strength with a highest average of compressive strength with 0.85 MPa and mean weight of 11.1 kg. The result of Return on Investment was 37.08%. Therefore, it indicated that the return on the investments outweighed the cost
