This study was conducted to determine the administrative practices of administrators as it relates to the performance rating and work morale of teachers in the Division of Nueva Vizcaya. Specifically, this study aimed to determine the personal-professional profile of the principals, department heads and teachers and teachers' performance rating and level of work morale, the correlation between the personal-professional profile of administrators and their administrative practices, and the levels of perception of the principals with regard to their administrative practices

The study was conducted among 15 principals, 30 department heads and 200 randomly selected classroom teachers from the 15 public secondary schools in the Division of Nueva Vizcaya.

The statistical tools included descriptive statistics in the form of frequency distribution and percentage on the personal-professional profile of respondents and computation of mean in assessing the levels of perceptions of principals with regard to their administrative practices, and computation of mean on the teachers' performance rating and the level of work morale. Correlation analyses were utilized to determine the correlation between the personal-professional-profile of administrators and administrative practices, administrative practices and teachers performance rating and teaches work, morale. T-test/F-test were used in testing whether there were significant differences in the perceptions of principals. department heads and teachers with regard to the administrative practices of administrators.

Results of the study showed that there were significant correlations between personal-professional profile of administrators and administrative practices such as: Age and evaluation, gender and planning, education and planning, length of service and evaluation and staff development, and in-service trainings/seminars undertaken and planning and staff development. In all of the administrative practices of administrators it was found out that there were no significant correlations between administrative practices of administrators to teachers' performance rating. On the other hand, it was found out that, all the six areas of the administrative practices of administrators except evaluation bear no significant correlations to teachers work morale. There was a significant correlations between the administrative practices of administrators on the aspect of the evaluation and teachers' work morale.

In testing the differences on the perception of principals, department heads and teachers, utilizing T-test/F-test. It was found out that all areas of the six administrative practices of administrators bear significant differences on the perception of the three groups of respondents.
