This study evaluated the basic psychological needs support and satisfaction and the dancing motivation of the Grade 12 students in Nueva Vizcaya and utilizing the dimensions of their socio-demographic profiles to predict the appraised motivation constructs stated. This is done through applying both descriptive and inferential research approach towards the mechanism of the study. The descriptive part handled the evaluation of the intended motivational constructs while the quantitative part dealt the predictive analysis. The considered scales of the psychological needs support and satisfaction were autonomy, competence, and relatedness. On the other hand, the dimensions of dancing motivation were self-determination, usefulness of dance and enjoyment and effort. The study constructed a researcher-made demographic profiling tool and adapted pre-constructed questionnaire, that were assessed and validated by experts on the field, on basic psychological needs support and satisfaction and dancing motivation. The inferential analysis involved the usage a simple linear regression to determine whether demographic profiles act as predictors. A total of 598 participants became the primary source of data for the study coming from the different public high school institutions that offers the senior high school program in the province of Nueva Vizcaya. Results showed a high-level support provision and satisfaction of the basic psychological needs support and satisfaction respectively. Also, a high level of self-determination, usefulness of dance and enjoyment and effort were observed. Further analysis revealed that sex and ethnic background were the primary predictors of both dancing motivation and the basic psychological needs. Significant differences were also observed from such profiling elements. Lastly, a dancing instruction framework was proposed based on the result of this study.
