| General note | The study aimed to determine the response of Honeoye Strawberry (Fragaria ananasa) under modified hydroponic system to different hydroponic solutions. It is evaluated at 12 square hydroponic house using recycled 1.5 L bottle with 11 strawberries planted in each experimental unit. It is analyzed in Completely Randomized Design with 3 replications and DMRT at 5% level of significance was used to compare the mean difference. Result of the study shows that there is a significant difference between treatments in terms of crown diameter and weight of yield. However, it has no significant difference between treatments in terms of the total number of fruits. Palatability test shows that Yamasaki Nutrient Solution has the highest mean scores in terms of aroma and appearance while 50% biogas slurry +40% FFJ+10% Calphos has the highest acceptance for taste. This indicates that T3 could be used as an alternative nutrient solution in hydroponics for growing Strawberry. |
