| General note | The study was conducted to describe the profile of secondary school administrators such as; age, gender, civil status, educational qualification, position/designation, years in experience as administrator, number of years as administrators in the present school, trainings and seminars attended and ethnic origin. The Total Quality Management (TQM) Level covered ten areas such as; access, customer value, leadership, physical environment and resources, effective learning, students development, staff development, external relations, organizational development and standards. The TQM level focused on secondary school administrators in the Division of Ifugao. The administrators rated themselves and the teacher-respondents rated their school administrators. The numerical and descriptive rating was: 5-excellent, followed by 4-very satisfactory, 3-satisfactory, then 2-fair, and 1-poor was the lowest.<br/><br/>The study covered all secondary schools in all municipalities of Ifugao except the three who were covered during the validation of the research instrument. There were 25 school heads of either principal, head teachers and teachers in-charge and 97 teachers with the total of 122 respondents.<br/><br/>The statistical tools used the descriptive statistics in the form of frequency distribution and percentage on the profile of the respondents, mean and standarddeviation were used to describe the TQM level, t-test an analysis of variance was used to determine the significance between and among variables.<br/><br/>The findings revealed that the profile of the respondents does not affect TQM in general, except seminars and trainings that directly affect TQM. It revealed that the higher the level of training, the higher the TQM level.<br/><br/>Based on the findings, the researcher recommends that the school administrators of the Division of Ifugao should find more venue to improve their TQM by attending trainings relevant to administration not only trainings held locally but nationally and even internationally if possible. For the Schools Division Superintendent and Staff should used the findings as a baseline data and information in planning particularly in designing training relevant to administration, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of programs to improve the managerial skill of school administrators. And for the plan to be realistic, allocation of funds for training should be included.<br/><br/>For the future researchers, topics related to this should further conduct deeper investigation particularly in determining other factors that affect quality management. |
