500 ## - GENERAL NOTE
General note The expected percentage of bird damage to rice yell can vary widely depending on various factors such as bird species, rice field location, crop stage, and management practices. In some cases, bird damage can lead to significant losses, ranging from 5% to 30% or even higher in extreme cases. However, effective bird control measures such as scare tactics, netting, or sound deterrents can help reduce these losses. Agricultural extension services or local research institutions may provide more specific estimates tailored to particular regions or circumstances. The Development and implementation of ESP32-based detector and repeller system in rice fields aims to reduce the bird damage in rice productions.
The researchers set up the ESP32-based detector and repeller system in the rice field and gathered the recorded data from the HTTP web site the researcher then valdate the date using NRMSE, D-Index, and Nash-Sutcliffe Coefficient the data shows that NRMSE value of 8.33% and 15.71% indicates that the observed values are relatively large when normalized by the range of the prediction errors. The NRMSE of MH-100X HB100 is less than 10% which shows a very good fitting degree while the NRMSE of HW-MS03 is greater than 10% but less than 20%. This shows a good fitting degree based on the NRMSE value that the modef's actual observations are quite far from the predictions on average. In this context, the sensor system's predictions for motion detection are highly accurate.
