500 ## - GENERAL NOTE
General note Terminalia microcarpa Deene, is known for its native name as kalumpit. This semi-deciduous tree commonly found in lower elevations of rainforest in the Philippines and had been known for its resilient properties in terms of growth performance. In this research study. a total of 75 kalumpit seedlings was distributed over an approximately 216 m² and tested with different frequency of water supply as treatments to determine the most favorable soil moisture condition when planted in Barobbob Watershed.

After 180 days, 95% of the kalumpit seedlings had survived. A relative growth increment of 588.09 % in stem collar diameter and 563.63% in height was recorded Kalumpit leaves with 26.18 cm³ with 33.30 µmol m-2 chlorophyll content, responded to watering every 4 to 8 days. Following oven drying, 554.83 g to 769.93 g of biomass from harvested kalumpit seedlings was weighed to determine which different soil moisture condition had the most favorable result.

Analyzing the data using ANOVA in RCBD, the relative growth increment in stem collar diameter and height, biomass growth of stems, leaves and roots, and survival rate of kalumpit seedlings turned out to be insignificant with the frequency of watering but the leaf area growth found to be remarkably significant with the watering of seedlings.
