As The study determined the profile of Solano High School in terms of enrolment status and drop out and completion rates, the profile of the recipients of project EASE, and the extent of benefits derived and problems encountered by the recipients of the program. Further, it used the descriptive-inferential method in determining the relationship between the profile of recipients of project EASE and their extent of benefits derived and problems encountered in the program.
This study was conducted during school year 2015-2016 in Solano High School using 51 randomly selected recipients of project EASE who served as respondents. A validated researcher-made questionnaire was used to gather pertinent data that substantiated the theme of this research. Frequencies and percentages were used in treating the data on profile of school and recipients of project EASE and mean and standard deviation to describe both extent of benefits derived and problems encountered by the recipients of the program. Simple correlation analyses were used to test the relationship between variables while categorical regression analysis was utilized in determining the profile variables that are significantly influential to benefits derived and problems encountered by the recipients of project EASE Solano High School's enrolment increased for school year 2013-2014 to school year 2014-2015 for both regular students and those who are under project EASE. Also, there is a decrease in dropout rate among regular students and decrease in the number of students enrolled in Project EASE who were able to complete Grade Ten. Most of the recipients of the project EASE belong to the typical age of secondary students, grade eight, male and with two siblings. Also, most of the recipients' parents’ monthly income range from 6,000-10,000 pesos. Mothers of the recipients have higher educational attainment than their fathers. Further, most of the recipients' parents are living together and approve their child's enrolment to Project EASE.
The level of academic performance of the recipients of Project EASE for the School Years 2013-2014 in Filipino, English and Mathematics which was "Approaching Proficiency" turned to "Developing" in the school year 2014-2015. In addition, the recipients greatly benefitted from the Project EASE socially, educationally, and personally/financially. Also, it was found out that the recipients greatly encountered personal, mental and educational problems while enrolled to Project EASE and they moderately encountered social problems.
Project EASE recipients whose mothers have higher educational attainment derived higher extent of personal/financial benefits from Project EASE while sex is found to be a strong predictor of the great extent of benefits derived by the recipients of Project EASE but the profile variables of the recipients did not correlate with the problems they encountered while enrolled in the program. And none among the profile variables is a predictor of the extent of problems encountered by the recipients of Project EASE.
