The study was conducted with the following objectives: (to estimate the prevalence of priority disease by municipality; (2) to evaluate the efficiency of vaccination in controlling priority disease; and (3) to present the geographical distribution of these priority diseases by municipality using Geographic Information system.
The study was able to identify three priority disease of large ruminants in the province of Nueva Vizcaya on available records of the Provincial Veterinary Office. Results showed that Fasciola infection has the highest incidence followed by Ephemeral and then Hemorrhagic Septiceamia.
